How does this affect Aethereal Parcels?
The Aethereal Parcels will now be on the IMX chain. Thus it will be compulsory to have your MetaMask wallet connected to an IMX marketplace to create an IMX account.
1. Create a MetaMask
First you must create a MetaMask or an Ethereum wallet. Follow the detailed guide here and read about some common FAQs about this wallet: https://cryptobriefing.com/metamask-beginner-guide/
2. Link your MetaMask to IMX
- After accessing the link, click on "Connect Wallet"
- A prompt will appear showing your Metamask extension, any hardware wallet(s) available, and other options to connect.
- Select "MetaMask," select the account you will use (automatically selected unless you want to choose other existing Metamask accounts), and click "Next."
- Another confirmation menu will appear. Click "Connect."
- The "Unlock Immutable X" menu will pop up. Click "Get Started."
- You will be prompted to re-confirm your wallet address and ask you to sign the IMX request. Click "Sign."
- Set up your Immutable X Key. This will ask for another Signature request.
- A prompt will appear saying "SetUp Complete."
