What are chat activity roles?
Chat activity roles (or leveled roles) are roles that you can award to users who reach a particular server score.
Chat activity roles are perfect for rewarding active and dedicated members of your community!
Members of your server earn server score and points as they chat in your server.

Tatsu requires these permissions to award chat activity roles:

| Manage Roles (Required to reward roles) |
Tatsu's role must also be higher in the role hierarchy than your chat activity roles!
Due to Discord permissions, Tatsu will not be able to award roles if that role is higher than Tatsu's role.

Follow these steps to create a new chat activity role!
Starter Chat Activity Roles
To help you get started, we've provided a list of example chat activity roles based off the default Server Score gain that you can create for your server.

Chat Activity Roles Limits
For free servers, you can set a maximum of 10 chat activity roles.

Troubleshooting

Check if Tatsu's role is higher in the role hierarchy than your chat activity roles. Due to Discord permissions, Tatsu will not be able to award roles that are higher than Tatsu's role. Roles will only be awarded when a user types in chat.

Only plus or premium servers are able to add more than 10 chat activity roles.

The roles will continue to work, however you will not be able to add or edit the chat activity roles until you re-subscribe.
